BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Corinn Canfield (So., Davenport, Calif./Stevenson School) of the University of Oregon “A” made 11 saves in the Women’s Collegiate Club Northwest Division Championship title game against the University of Washington “A” to claim recognition as the division’s April 16 Player of the Week award.

Following victories over Portland State University (26-1 W) and Western Washington University (23-4 W) to punch the Ducks’ ticket to the division title tilt against the Huskies, Canfield kept her team in the game as Oregon took an 8-5 loss to Washington.

Due to its finish, Oregon earns the No. 16 position in the 2018 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship field hosted by Washington at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Ore. on Friday-Sunday, May 4-6.
