LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The No. 14-ranked Princeton University Tigers wrapped up the SoCal Invitational with an 8-5 loss to the Sagehens of Division III No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges at Loyola Marymount University’s Burns Aquatic Center.

A goal for the Sagehens right before the end of the first quarter put them ahead, 2-1. Yurian Quinones tied the contest 42 seconds into the second stanza. The game was even at three-all before a tally from Pomona-Pitzer with 23 seconds left set the non-conference matchup at 4-3 by intermission.

After head coach Dustin Litvak‘s squad registered its fourth goal of the contest, the Sagehens put up the next three tallies to go in front, 7-4, with 7:41 remaining. Quinones snagged his second goal of the game at the 3:07 mark, but Princeton could not inch closer.
