Durham is one of the world’s leading Universities as shown by our World Top 100 position in the QS World University Rankings 2021, where we are ranked 86th. Durham is set in the beautiful surroundings of a historic cathedral city and prides itself on its ability to help develop the leaders of the future and has the highest of academic standards. We recently celebrated our 12th anniversary of recruiting postgraduate overseas student athletes. We remain the only university in Britain to be offering such a vast program for overseas students. We are looking for people that want to keep playing their sport at a high standard for another year and have a strong drive to win a national championship. Crucially, we want people that are keen to help develop their sport in a country where university sport and student participation is still growing.
