BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) uncovers video footage of the 2012 clash between Bucknell University and California Baptist University at the Santa Clara Rodeo hosted by Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, Calif., on October 20, 2012, for the latest “Flashback Friday”.
The then No. 17-ranked Bison fell to the Lancers by a 6-5 score in the game as the contest was knotted at four-all by halftime. Bucknell claimed a 5-4 lead in the third quarter. However, Cal Baptist scored the tying goal with 6:56 to play and tallied the winning goal with 5:01 on the clock. Bucknell did not score over the final 13:13 of play to suffer the one goal loss.
