BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — For the first time, the “Flashback Friday” series features a doubleheader as Carthage College hosted Macalester College on Friday, April 9, at home in the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Part of a four-game home-and-home series between the Firebirds and Scots on April 9 and Sunday, April 11, at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, Carthage dropped both ends of their home games with 18-13 and 13-5 losses. Macalester swept the four-game weekend by extinguishing the Firebirds by counts of 15-2 and 20-7 at home in Minnesota on April 11.
