BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) goes into the archives of the sport for a men’s game pitting the Crimson of Harvard University against the Golden Bears of the University of California from the 2018 season.
The game occurred on Saturday, September 15, 2018, as then No. 9-ranked Harvard topped the No. 3 ranked Golden Bears by a 15-14 count in sudden victory. It marked the highest ranked opponent the Crimson defeated in the history of the program. Austin Sechrest led Harvard in the game with four goals versus the Golden Bears, including the golden tally. Goalie Anthony Ridgley made 20 saves.
