BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Sam Klupchak (Gr., Floosmoor, Ill./Homewood-Floosmoor) helped Florida State University finish 2-2 during the final Women’s Collegiate Club Southeast Division regular season tournament hosted by the University of Florida. For her performance, Klupchak is named the April 11 division Player of the Week.
She aided the Semionles’ cause in defeating Florida “B” (10-3 W) and Emory University (15-1 W) with losses to Florida “A” (10-3 L) and the University of Central Florida (11-6 L) as Florida State finishes the regular season with a 5-3 mark and the No. 3 seed for the Southeast Division Championship at home in Tallahassee, Fla., on Saturday-Sunday, April 23-24.
