BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Dimitris Koukias (So., Athens, Greece/Athens College) of No. 16-ranked Fordham University netted eight goals over three games to earn status as the November 18 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Player of the Week.
A two-time Rookie of the Week pick in 2018 (October 22, November 12) and a prior Player of the Week on September 23 earlier this season, he netted a pair of markers in a 9-8 win over St. Francis College Brooklyn on Wednesday, November 12, while scoring twice with a steal in a 9-6 loss to No. 13 Bucknell University on Saturday, November 16. He capped his week with four goals and an assist in an 11-10 win over La Salle University on November 16 as Fordham clinched the No. 2 seed for the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship.
