RICHMOND, Va. — Former University of Richmond men’s water polo coaches Alexander S. Szilassy and Norris Eastman discussed the Spiders’ water polo program in 1988 interviews with then college students Tim McGinnis and George Edelman. They discussed the formation of the water polo team in 1971 by Szilassy and Eastman along with team recruitment, construction of the Robins Center Pool, JOPA tournaments, outstanding players (David Kasten/Mario Ciceric) and more.
