BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jordi Alonso (Sr., Barcelona, Spain/Jesuites Sarria-Sant Ignasi), Andras Bimbo-Szuhai (Sr., Budapest, Hungary/Ady Endre Liceum), Vuk Bulajic (Jr., Belgrade, Serbia/King’s College) and Nicolas Butelet (Sr., Paris, France/Willow Glen) of the Wagner College men’s water polo team were recognized with annual student awards by the institution.
Alonso won the Economics Department Award for academic excellence in the field of economics, while Bimbo-Szuhai claimed the Dr. Natale Colosi Microbiology Award in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement in the field of microbiology.
Butelet also won the Dr. Natale Colosi Microbiology Award in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement in the field of microbiology, while Bulajic picked up the Internationalization Action Award, given to a student who has furthered, exemplified or supported internationalization issues at Wagner.
