BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Hope Stokes (Lakeside, Calif.) of California State University-Fresno (Fresno State) tallied 12 goals over the span of four games during a league weekend at the University of California, Santa Cruz to take the March 9 Women’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division Player of the Week award.
She posted pairs of strikes against UC-Santa Cruz “A” (12-8 W) and California State University, Chico (12-8 W) along with a trio versus Saint Mary’s University (21-7 W) and five goals in a 19-10 handling of San Jose State University.
The award marks her second Player of the Week nod as she previously earned recognition on February 17.
