BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Gannon University Office of Athletics Communications released a highlight video of the Golden Knights’ 15-10 victory over crosstown rival Mercyhurst University in the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC)-West Region Championship title game at the David M. Hallman III Aquatics Center in Erie, Pa., on Sunday, November 5.
The inaugural postseason title in the history of Gannon water polo, the game capped off a 12-contest tournament with Washington & Jefferson College, Connecticut College, La Salle University, Salem International University, Monmouth College, McKendree University, the Lakers and the Golden Knights.
