GROVE CITY, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend women’s water polo team dropped contests to Gannon University, 18-5, and Wittenberg University, 15-8, to conclude the 2022 Grove City College Invitational.
Shannon Young (Roseville,Calif./Roseville) potted three in the loss to Gannon in support of a six save effort by goalie Chloe Dodgen (Riverside, Calif./Hillcrest) versus Gannon.
Dodgen added 10 more saves against Wittenberg to accompany a pair of tallies by Young versus the Tigers.
Angela Laier (Lansing, Mich./Holt) and Samantha Darrell (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) rounded out the scoring in the loss to Wittenberg with Darrell finishing the afternoon with two goals.
