BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — George Washington University’s Andras Levai (Gr., Budapest, Hungary/Csik Ferenc Secondary School) posted 10 goals, two assists, six steals, three field blocks and one ejection drawn in three games at the Princeton Invitational hosted by Princeton University at DeNunzio Pool.  For his efforts, Levai is named the September 13 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Player of the Week.

An eight-time weekly honor recipient from the league office following a pair of Player of the Week awards in 2018 (November 12, November 26) and one in 2019 (September 30) following four Rookie of the Week accolades in 2017 (September 11, November 6, November 20, November 27), he opened the weekend with five goals in an 18-13 loss to St. Francis College Brooklyn prior to tallying two goals, an assist, two steals and three field blocks in a 13-10 loss to Brown University on Saturday, September 11.  Levai concluded the invitational with three goals, an assist and two steals in a 15-11 defeat by No. 18-ranked Harvard University.

Through six games, he leads GW in goals (16), points (23) and steals (eight), and he has now totaled 250 goals and 185 assists for his career.
