BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Aliya Swearngin (Fr., Saint Louis, Mo./Kirkwood), Cosette Rhoads (Jr., Naperville, Ill./Matea Valley) and Sophia Carroll (Fr., San Antonio, Texas/Alamo Heights) of Grinnell College helped lead the Fireballs to a 4-0 record over the weekend at Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., to help their team conclude an 8-0, clinch the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Heartland Division Championship and share honors as the April 11 division Player of the Week.

Carroll posted four goals, three assists, three steals and a pair of field blocks, while Rhoads tacked on five goals, five assists, four steals and two field blocks to accompany two goals, four assists and three steals from Swearngin.

The Fireballs topped Knox College twice by forfeit (5-0 W Forfeit) prior to bookend victories over Saint Olaf College (8-7 W) and Carleton (7-2 W) as the team completed an 8-0 regular season league docket and clinched the No. 1 seed for the Heartland Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 23-24, at home in Grinnell, Iowa.
