BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Elaine Miller (Fr., Worthingon, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) netted 12 goals, five assists, seven drawn exclusion and 10 steals during a 4-0 weekend for the Grove City College Wolverines at home in league play to claim status as the March 25 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Roookie of the Week.

A two-time Rookie of the Week selection in 2019 following previous recognition on March 11, Miller helped key the Wolverines’ attack to top Washington & Jefferson College (18-10 W), Utica College (21-7 W), Connecticut College (16-10 W) and Penn State Behrend (14-12 W) to conclude CWPA Division III-East action with a perfect 8-0 mark in region play.  Courtesy the 8-0 record, Grove City clinched the No. 2 seed for the upcoming CWPA Division III Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 12-14, at Lott Natatorium on the campus of Connecticut College in New London, Conn.

She opened the weekend at home in James E. Longnecker Competition Pool with four goals and an assist in dispatching Washington & Jefferson on Friday, March 22, prior to wrapping up the day with four goals, an assist and three steals in a victory over Utica.

On Saturday, March 23, she helped Grove City remain unblemished in CWPA Division III action by racking up three goals and an assist versus Connecticut prior to chipping in a goal with assist and four steals in the regular season finale versus Penn State Behrend.
