BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalkeeper Rachel Lion (Sr., Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Santa Cruz) of Hamilton College posted 51 saves in 112 minutes of action to earn honors as the February 24 Women’s Collegiate Club New York Division Player of the Week.
Competing at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., Lion backstopped the Continentals in meetings with Division III No. 3-ranked New York University (15-1 L), Syracuse University (5-0 W Forfeit), No. 20 Cornell University (21-0 L) and the host Raiders (17-2 L).
