BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — L.J. Edwards (Jr., Encinitas, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) racked up eight goals with two assists for No. 18-ranked Hartwick College at the University of Michigan Invitational to claim notice as the January 29 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.
A first-time weekly award recipient, Edwards began the season with five goals and two assists in a 15-11 loss to No. 8 University of the Pacific. She tacked on two tallies in a 12-9 defeat of No. 24 Marist College prior to putting away another goal in a 16-14 loss to No. 15 Wagner College.
