CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Harvard University women’s water polo team has announced its 2018 schedule which includes six home matches at Blodgett Pool. All of Harvard’s home matches will be broadcast live on the Ivy League Network. 

Harvard kicks off its campaign at Indiana University’s Hoosier Invitational, playing Iona College and McKendree University on January 27 at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively. The Crimson continues action against the University of Toronto at 9:30 a.m. and the University of California-Santa Barbara at 1:00 p.m. the following day, January 28. Harvard returns to play on Saturday, February 3, when at Brown University for a 10:00 a.m. contest. The Crimson will have a bye weekend before returning to action on Saturday, February 17, at Princeton University for a weekend of games. On Saturday, Harvard will play the Tigers at 9:00 a.m. before facing off once again on February 18 at 1:00 p.m.

In March, the Crimson hosts their first games of the season when San Jose State University comes to town on March 3 at 2:30 p.m. On Sunday, March 4, Harvard will host Siena College for a 9:00 a.m. showdown. The Crimson will be on the road the remainder of March, kicking off its California trip with a March 10 contest at San Diego State University at 9:00 a.m. On March 11, Harvard faces San Diego State once again for a 9:00 a.m. contest. On Tuesday, March 13, the team will play at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges at 2:00 p.m., before traveling to the University of California-Irvine on Thursday, March 15, for a 10:00 p.m. start. That weekend the Crimson faces Loyola Marymount University for games on March 16 and 17.

To finish out the month of March, Harvard will travel for a tournament at Saint Francis University (Pa.) on March 24 where the Crimson will face Indiana at at 9:30 a.m., before facing St. Francis (Pa.) at 6:00 p.m. the same day. The Crimson rounds out March with a March 25 contest at George Washington University at 11:00 a.m.

Harvard kicks off April as it hosts its annual tournament at Blodgett Pool the weekend of April 7-8. The team welcomes St. Francis (Pa.) at 12:45 p.m. and Indiana at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, before facing two-time defending league champion the University of Michigan and Hartwick College on Sunday at 11:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., respectively. Harvard’s regular season concludes on the road as the Crimson travels to Brown on April 11 for a 7:30 p.m. contest prior to treking to Bucknell for an April 14 contest at 9:30 a.m. That same afternoon, Harvard plays George Washington at 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, April 15, Harvard will play its final game of the regular season at Princeton University at 10:30 a.m.
