BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emma Gilbert (Fr., Santa Barbara, Calif./Dos Pueblos) of No. 19-ranked Harvard University tallied 10 goals and two assists in the span of five games on Friday-Sunday, February 23-25, at home in Blodgett Pool to earn laurels as the February 26 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.

A first-time honor recipient from the league office, she opened the weekend by scoring once in a 10-7 dispatching of No. 19 Brown University in CWPA league competition on Friday, February 23. 

At the Harvard Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, February 24-25, she registered the remainder of her offensive output as the Crimson finished 2-2 during the event.

She chipped in three goals and an assist during a 10-9 loss to No. 16 the University of California-Davis prior to tacking on a pair of scores in a 22-5 management of Mercyhurst University on Saturday, February 24.  A day later on Sunday, February 25, she stuffed in a trio of tallies and handed out a helper in a 13-4 victory over Santa Clara University before contributing a solo goal in a 10-6 setback versus No. 18 Wagner College.
