BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Evan Tingler (Sr., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) notched eight goals and seven assists during a 4-0 weekend for No. 19-ranked Harvard University at home in Blodgett Pool while hosting games for the 2023 Brown University Bruno Classic. For her performance, Tingler is claims recognition as the February 6 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.
A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, Tingler opened the weekend by scoring twice and dishing out an assist in a 19-12 defeat of No. 23 Marist College prior to adding pairs of goals and assists in an 18-7 dispatching of La Salle University on Saturday, February 4.
Facing a pair of nationally-ranked foes on Sunday, February 5, she handed out an assist in a 16-9 victory over Division III No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges before racking up four goals and a pair of assists in a 13-9 win versus No. 19 Long Island University.
