BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Gabe Putnam (Jr., Clovis, Calif./Buchanan) of No. 13-ranked racked up 10 goals, three assists, three steals, three field blocks and 10 ejections drawn during a 4-0 weekend at home during the Harvard Invitational to earn recognition as the October 18 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Week.
A two-time weekly honor recipient after previously claiming Rookie of the Week status on November 25, 2019, Putnam posted three goals with a pair of steals in a 16-5 defeat of Gannon University and three goals with three assists, three field blocks and a pair of ejections drawn in a 15-9 dispatching of Wagner College. In addition, he added four goals and a steal in a 14-8 win versus Salem University and did not appear in the Crimson’s contest against Mount St. Mary’s University.
