BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Grace Thawley (Jr., Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei) tallied eight goals, three steals, an assist and eight ejections drawn during a 3-1 weekend for No. 22-ranked Harvard University at home during the Brown University Bruno Classic to garner recognition as the February 7 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

A two-time Player of the Week selection following a previous honor in 2020 (March 9), Thawley opened the weekend at home on Saturday, February 5, by dishing out an assist, grabbing two steals and earning a trio of ejections as the Crimson dropped an 11-6 game to No. 14 Wagner College.  She added a solo goal in a 13-5 defeat of California Baptist University to round out the day.

On Sunday, February 6, she notched four goals, a steal and two ejections drawn as Harvard handled Division III No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges, 17-4.  In the weekend finale she found the back twine three times and tallied a trio of ejections drawn as the Crimson stopped La Salle University, 15-5.
