BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Harvard University’s Inde Halligan (Fr., Sydney, Australia/Meriden School) registered three goals, two assists and eight steals during a 2-0 season-opening weekend for the Crimson to earn status as the January 28 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie and Defensive Player of the Week.
Competing at Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y., against the host Gaels (10-7 W) and the Wildcats of Villanova University (20-12 W), Halligan helped the No. 18-ranked Crimson go 2-0 as the squad outscored its foes by a 30-19 margin.
