BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kaleb Archer (Fr., Clovis, Calif./Buchanan) of No. 9-ranked Harvard University posted his seventh hat-trick of the season with four goals, an assist and a steal in a 14-5 defeat of Division III No. 6 the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to earn status as the November 11 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Rookie of the Week.
A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, Archer’s efforts helped the Crimson wrap-up a 27-0 regular season record, including a 10-0 mark in the NWPC, as Harvard clinched the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Northeast Water Polo Conference Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 22-24, at MIT in Cambridge, Mass.
