BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalie Nathan Wu (Fr., San Diego, Calif./The Bishop’s School) of No. 9-rankd Harvard University made 48 saves with two assists and three steals during a 4-0 weekend for the Crimson at the 2019 Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament hosted by Santa Clara University and San Jose State University to earn laurels as the October 28 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week.

He posted 14 saves in a 15-12 victory over No. 19 California Baptist University on Friday, October 25, prior to notching 19 saves in victories over Santa Clara (19-17 W) and No. 12 San Jose State (10-8 W) on Saturday, October 26.  Wu wrapped up the weekend with a career-high 15 saves in a 13-6 defeat of Division III No. 8 Chapman University as Harvard improved to 22-0 on the season.
