BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalkeeper Oliver Price (Fr., La Jolla, Calif./The Bishop’s School) of No. 18-ranked Harvard University aided the Crimson to a 4-0 weekend at home in Blodgett Pool during the 2023 Harvard Invitational.  For his performance, Price cashes in to acquire recognition as the October 16 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Defensive Player of the Week.

Competing against the University of California-Merced (25-8 W), Division III No. 3 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (17-10 W), George Washington University (18-8 W) and Wagner College (14-12 OT W), the Crimson raised their record to 14-3 on the year, including an 8-1 mark at home in Blodgett – the site of the 2023 NWPC Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 17-19.

A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, Price appeared in two games for Harvard as he turned aside six shots against UC-Merced on Saturday, October 14, prior to returning for 11 saves to suppress the Revolutionaries of George Washington on Sunday, October 15.
