BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Freshman Olivia Price (Lafayette, Calif./Lafayette) of No. 19-ranked Harvard University scored five times in a 3-1 weekend at Indiana University’s Hoosier Invitational to collect notice as the January 29 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
She connected on her inaugural collegiate goal 44 seconds into a 14-6 season-opening win versus Iona College. Price returned to contribute four more goals and a steal against McKendree University in a 19-6 victory to wrap-up the weekend withe six points (five goals, one assist).
In addition, she aided the Crimson’s cause in a 17-2 defeat of the University of Toronto and an 8-5 setback versus No. 13 University of California-Santa Barbara.
