BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Ruby Hodge (So., San Juan Capistrano, Calif./Santa Margarita) of No. 19-ranked Harvard University accounted for eight goals and four assists during a 2-2 weekend for the Crimson at home in Blodgett Pool during the 2024 Bruno Classic. For her performance, Hodge earns the title of February 5 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.
On Saturday, February 3, she started the weekend by scoring once in a 17-10 loss to No. 14 Indiana University prior to chipping in a pair of markers in a 12-7 loss to No. 18 Wagner College.
She capped off the weekend by tallying a solo strike in a 9-8 defeat of La Salle University before racking up four goals and four assists in a 14-8 handling of Marist College on Sunday, February 4.
The award marks the second weekly honor of Hodge’s career as she previously was recognized as the March 20 Rookie of the Week during the 2023 season.
