BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Zoe Banks (Jr., Palo Alto, Calif./Henry M. Gunn) of No. 22-ranked Harvard University made 17 saves with 22 goals against and a steal during a 2-1 weekend for the Crimson at the ASU Invitational II hosted by Arizona State University.  For her efforts, Banks is named the March 14 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Defensive Player of the Week.

A four-time Defensive Player of the Week selection with previous honors during the 2022 (February 28), 2020 (March 9) and 2019 seasons (February 11), she opened the weekend trip to Tempe, Ariz., by making five saves during a 14-13 nail-biter loss to No. 9/host Arizona State on Saturday, March 12.  She did not play during the Crimson’s 14-7 handling of Azusa Pacific University later in the day.

On Sunday, March 13, she stopped 12 shots and grabbed a steal as Harvard managed No. 24 Marist College, 20-8.
