BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The inaugural collegiate water polo statistical manual will be released in August.
The purpose of the manual is to bring the sport of water polo into compliance with the accepted statistical policies of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) listed below. Further, it will establish common grounds and definitions for the initiation of national leaders in goals, assists, points, steals, exclusions drawn, field blocks. saves, goals against average, man-up and man-down percentages, among other statistical categories, and determination of goalies of record (winning/losing) for all games.
