BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Incoming Fordham University utility/two-meter defender Mark Dyck (Berlin, Germany/Sportschule im Olympiapark) was part of a host Germany squad that finished 4-2 in claiming Third Place at the 2025 International University Sports Federation (FISU) World University Games in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany.
Dyck was part of a German team which knocked off New Zealand (July 18, 21-6 L) and the United States of America (July 19, 13-9 W) prior to falling against Hungary (July 21, 15-13 L) in Group B. Germany stopped the Republic of Korea (July 23, 30-7 W) in the quarterfinals and came up short versus Italy (July 24, 17-14 L) in the semifinals prior to stunning Hungary in a penalty shootout (July 26, 21-20 W) to take home the Bronze Medal.
