2025 Northeast Water Polo Conference Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Brown University’s Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center in Providence, R.I., will serve as the site for the 2025 Northeast Water Polo Conference Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 21-23, with No. 1 seed/No. 14-ranked Princeton University, No. 2 seed/No. 18 Harvard University, No. 4 seed Iona University, No. 5 seed/Division III No. 10 the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, No. 6 seed Long Island University and the host/No. 3 seed/No. 19 Bears.
The three-day, seven-game championship will decide the NWPC Champion and automatic qualifier for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Water Polo National Championship on December 5-7, 2025, at Stanford University’s Avery Aquatic Center in Stanford, Calif.
Coming to the Event?:
- Parking: Fans on Friday, November 21, will have to find street parking; all lots on campus are free to use after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, and on Saturday-Sunday, November 22-23. Fans are asked to leave extra time to find parking around campus.
- Tickets: Tickets are available at the door to the pool in the Aquatics Center on the day(s) of the championship. Tickets are $15 per day or $35 for a three-day pass which entitles the bearer entry to all championship games on Friday-Sunday, November 21-23. Brown students, faculty and staff with a valid college ID, and senior citizens 65 and older, will be admitted at discounted prices of $10 (tournament pass) and $5 (one-day pass). All children 12 and under are free of charge.
- Facility: Located at 235 Hope Street, the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center opened in May 2012. The pool is 56 Meters in Length x 25 Yards in Width, & most of the pool is 7-9 ft deep. The facility has a seating capacity for 400 spectators & a state of the art video high definition scoreboard.
- Food: The snack bar facility in the lobby of the Moran Aquatics Center will be open for a limited time early hours and Saturday/Sunday morning. There are many restaurants near Brown University, especially on Thayer Street, which is a central hub with numerous options.
- Sportsmanship Statement: The Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) promote good sportsmanship by officials, student-athletes, coaches, team representatives, event personnel and spectators. The league requests your cooperation by supporting the participants, staff, officials and event personnel in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at student-athletes, event personnel, officials, coaches, fans or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. The possession, consumption and/or distribution of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products is strictly prohibited.
