BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — EAST-COMM – the Eastern Athletic Communications Association – has released its 2025-26 Academic Honor Roll honoring student-athletes hard work on the field and in the classroom. A total of 7,466 student-athletes from EAST-COMM member schools between the fall, winter, and spring academic honor rolls from 51 different institutions were recognized.
Student-athletes on the list needed to have at least sophomore eligibility and a 3.4 cumulative GPA to be nominated with their school being members of EAST-COMM. 42 different sports were represented between the three teams.
12 Iona University and four Mount St. Mary’s University men’s water polo athletes were among 27 total competitors in the sport named to the team as Mount Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) institution Johns Hopkins University claimed 11 nods.
Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) member Iona led the way among men’s water poo institutions as Gaels claimed the greatest recognition with 12 accolades:

- PJ Bartzen (So., Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) – Management, 3.70
- Eric Caplener (So., Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos) – Management, 3.48
- Hugh Coyle (So., Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) – International Business, 3.43
- Brett Grady (So., Naperville, Ill./Naperville North) – Business Analytics & Information Systems, 3.97
- Edward Imm (Gr., Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton) – Business MBA, 3.44
- Rastko Jevdjovic (Sr., Belgrade, Serbia/Third Belgrade Grammar School) – Entrepreneurship, 3.40
- Zachary McAllister-Sim (Jr., Auckland, New Zealand/St. Peter’s) – Finance, 3.57
- Matthew Mischlich (Sr., Houston, Texas/Strake Jesuit College Prep) – Neuroscience, 3.73
- Pavle Musikic (So., Belgrade, Serbia/Sportska Gimnazija) – Finance, 3.67
- Coby Scanlon (Sr., Orlando, Fla./Olympia) – Finance, 3.42
- Aleksandar Slavkovic (Sr., Belgrade, Serbia/Smartanac Sport) – Entrepreneurship (3.55)
Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) institution Mount St. Mary’s added four awards:

- Andrew Norris (Gr., Skyesville, Md./Mount St. Joseph) – Business MBA, 3.72
