BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jack Burghardt (Fr., Manhattan Beach, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) of No. 18-ranked Harvard University totaled 10 goals, one assist, seven steals and seven ejections drawn at the Bruno Classic during a 3-1 weekend at home in Blodgett Pool.  The performance earns the first-year Crimson athlete recognition as the September 4 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Rookie of the Week.

He scored in all four games of the weekend for Harvard by netting six goals with pairs of steals and drawn ejections versus McKendree University (23-7 W); two goals, one assist and three steals facing Bucknell University (14-7 W); a goal and two steals against Wagner College (13-3 W); and a goal with three drawn ejections in a defeat by No. 8 Pepperdine University (16-11 L).
