BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emerson Sullivan (So., San Anselmo, Calif./Sir Francis Drake) of Division III No. 4-ranked Johns Hopkins University totaled 14 goals, two assists, four drawn ejections, six steals and one block in a 1-1 week for the Blue Jays to earn status as the November 11 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Player of the Week.

Competing on Sunday, November 10, in the Blue Jays’ final two MAWPC-East Region regular season games, he scored twice, drew two ejections and grabbed three steals in a 11-8 loss in Charm City to No. 16 Fordham University.  He followed that with a record-breaking performance in a 23-22 win at home over Wagner College. He scored a school-record 12 goals and tied the record for points in a game with 14. He also had two drawn ejections, three steals and a field block in the one-goal win. Sullivan’s 12th and final goal, came with 56 ticks remaining and proved to be the game-winner.
