BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lailey Khatibloo (Fr., Seattle, Wash./Newport) of Washington University in St. Louis tallied nine goals, six assists and six steals to lead the Bears to a Fifth Place finish at the Midwest Division Championship hosted by the University of Notre Dame. For her performance, she claims recognition as the April 15 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Player of the Week.
Washington in St. Louis, which locked up a berth to the inaugural CWPA Women’s Division III Club Championship at Villanova University on Saturday-Sunday, April 27-28, in Villanova, Pa., fell to Illinois State University (11-2 L) prior to downing Miami University (Ohio) (5-0 W Forfeit) and the University of Cincinnati (11-2 W).
