BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Isabella Boccia (Fr., Laguna Hills, Calif./Laguna Hills) of Lindenwood University posted 10 goals, eight assists and nine steals in a 3-0 weekend for the Lions at the 2018 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Championship hosted by the University of Notre Dame.  For her performance, Boccia receives laurels as the division’s April 23 co-Player of the Week.

She helped Lindenwood down Washington University in St. Louis (22-2 W) and Illinois State University (20-1 W) prior to escaping the host Fighting Irish of Notre Dame (15-13 W) to capture the division crown and a berth to the Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Ore, on Friday-Sunday, May 4-6.

Boccia shares the Player of the Week award with Eleni Kokinos (Fr., Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos) of Washington University in St. Louis who scored three times with four assists and four steals to assist the Bears in clinching Fourth Place at the championship.
