LEWISBURG, Pa. — Long Island University turned back McKendree University, 14-11, and dropped a 23-16 contest to Salem University at the 2024 Bucknell Invitational hosted by Buckenll University at Kinney Natatorium.
The Sharks dove into the tournament by besting McKendree behind a four goal and six drawn exclusions performance from Josep Jodra Muñoz. Riyad Shehadeh matched his output with four goals of his own, while also adding five steals.
Facing Salem, Shehadeh netted five goals while Muñoz snagged 10 steals.
Muñoz also hit a personal milestone by scoring the 200th goal of his collegiate career, which has been with both Long Island and former varsity program St. Francis College Brooklyn.
