BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalie Courtney Overland (Sr., Honolulu, Hawaii/Iolani) posted 43 saves and limited opponents to 23 goals during a 4-0 weekend for Division III No. 8-ranked Macalester College at home in the Leonard Center during the final weekend of Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III-West Region regular season competition. For her efforts, she receives honors as the April 1 CWPA Division III Defensive Player of the Week.
A two-time Defensive Player of the Week selection in 2019 after previously sharing recognition on March 4, Overland helped the Scots top Austin College (8-6 W), Carthage College (9-4 W), Wittenberg University (19-7 W) and Division III No. 10 Monmouth College (12-11 W) to wrap-up the regular season with a perfect (8-0) league mark for the second consecutive season.
