BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Gabe Berman (Fr., Berkeley, Calif./Berkeley) of Macalester College made 31 saves and netted a goal in a 2-1 weekend for the Scots at home in Riley Pool during the Heartland Division Championship to garner accolades as the October 16 Men’s Collegiate Club Heartland Division Player of the Week.
He aided the Scots’ cause in a 19-11 victory over St. Johns University of Minnesota prior to taking a 7-4 loss to Grinnell College. Berman wrapped up the weekend by helping Macalester stop Carleton College (8-6 W) to earn Third Place at the Heartland Division Championship.
