BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jess Palmer-Sammons (So., Half Moon Bay, Calif./Half Moon Bay) of Division III No. 7-ranked Macalester College racked up six goals, two assists and three steals during a 2-0 week for the Scots on the road in California and Wisconsin to earn status as the March 18 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Player of the Week.
A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, she scored twice, handed out a pair of assists and snagged a trio of steals as the Scots topped host the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Calif., on Tuesday, March 12.
She wrapped up her week by scoring four times as Macalester managed Carthage College by a 13-6 score in Kenosha, Wis., on Friday, March 16, in a non-conference game.
