BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalie Laurel O’Hare (Fr., Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) helped the Macalester College Scots top Carthage College 18-13 and 13-5 on the road in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Friday April 9, prior to returning home to down the Firebirds 15-2 and 20-7 on Sunday, April 11. For her efforts, O’Hare is named the April 12 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Defensive Player of the Week.
In the lone games of the year for the Scots, O’Hare helped 2017, 2018 and 2019 CWPA Division III Champion Macalester turn back Carthage on the road and at home to close out a perfect 4-0 season.
