BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lucille Moran (Jr., Ann Arbor, Mich/Huron) of Division III No. 8-ranked/2018 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Champion Macalester College scored 10 goals at the league tournament to earn recognition as the April 16 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Player of the Week.

The 2017 and 2018 CWPA Division III regular season Most Valuable Player (MVP), she notched her second consecutive CWPA Division III Championship MVP award and First Team All-Tournament nod by tallying three goals against Utica College (15-3 W) and five more versus Carthage College (13-5 W) in the opening and semifinal rounds at the Hallman Aquatics Center in Erie, Pa. 

In the league championship title game, she notched a pair of markers as the Scots downed Division III No. 10 Connecticut College by a 13-12 final in overtime to capture their second consecutive CWPA Division III league crown.

The nod marks the sixth weekly award bestowed on Moran after previously garnering the February 29 and April 4 Division III Rookie of the Week awards during the 2016 season. Last season, she shared the March 27 Division III Player of the Week award with Becca Dabrowski (Jr., McHenry, Ill./West) of Monmouth College and earned accolades as the April 24 Division III Player of the Week for leading the Scots to their inaugural league championship crown.  Earlier in 2018, she picked up the February 26 Division III Player of the Week award.
