The 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District At-Large Team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. Student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30 and be a starter or contributor to be considered for Academic All-District and All-America accolades.
The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes outstanding student-athletes in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Further, the At-Large team recognizes women’s athletes in: beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis, water polo and wrestling making selection arguably the most difficult to achieve due to the number of athletes under consideration.
Among four women’s water polo players – including three in Division III – to earn Academic All-District status for consideration to the Academic All-America Team, Moran is the only Division III water polo athlete in either men’s or women’s competition to garner Academic All-America honors.
