BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Freshman Eleanor Michaud (Long Grove, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) registered 11 steals, 11 swim-off victories, six assist and four goals during a 2-2 weekend for the host Scots during the 2020 Macalester College Invitational to earn status as the February 24 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Defensive Player of the Week.
A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, Michaud scored once in a 12-10 defeat of Carthage College on Saturday, February 22, before the Division III No. 7-ranked Scots suffered a 13-7 setback against Division III No. 5 University of La Verne.
On Sunday, February 23, she scored twice in a 17-8 handling of Monmouth College before scoring once in a 19-8 loss to La Verne.
