BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The final weekend of Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III competition slated for Friday-Saturday, March 28-29, at Grove City College in Grove City, Pa., is adjusted to ease travel logistics at the request of the participating teams.
Competition will now begin at 8:00 a.m. Eastern on Friday, March 28, as the Grove City-Division III No. 5-ranked Austin College game moves up from its previously scheduled 10:20 a.m. opening sprint.
Connecticut College-vs.-Austin – which was previously scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29 – is moved to 10:20 a.m. on Friday, March 28, to permit the Kangaroos to make their flight home to Texas and the Camels to begin the trip back to Connecticut earlier on March 29.
The remainder of the schedule on Friday, March 28, remains unchanged.
The movement of the Connecticut-Austin game impacts the schedule on Saturday, March 29, changes the schedule of games as Division III No. 10 Washington & Jefferson College-vs.-Austin (8:00 a.m.), Wheaton College-vs.-Division III No. 6 Macalester College (9:30 a.m.), Connecticut-vs.-Carthage College (11:00 a.m.), Grove City-vs.-Division III No. 7 Augustana College (12:30 p.m.) and Washington & Jefferson-vs.-Macalester (2:00 p.m.) retain their previous time slots. The abdication of Connecticut-Austin from 3:30 p.m. is not filled as the Wheaton-vs.-Augustana (5:00 p.m.) and Grove City-vs.-Carthage (6:30 p.m.) games will remain at their prior positions and not move up to fill the time period.
