BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Miller Geschke (So., Los Altos, Calif./Menlo School) of Division III No. 6-ranked the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) accounted for 15 goals, five assists, 11 steals and a pair of field blocks in helping the Engineers claim second place at the 2019 Division III Eastern Championship hosted by Washington & Jefferson College at Chartiers Valley High School.  For his performance, Geschke is named the October 28 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Week.

An All-Tournament First Team selection, Geschke posted four goals, three assists and six steals on the tournament’s opening day against Washington & Jefferson College (17-8 W) and Penn State Behrend (20-5 W) on Saturday, October 26.  In the title game against Division III No. 5 Johns Hopkins University, he notched six goals as the Engineers took a 16-12 loss.

The award marks the second Player of the Week nod in 2019 for Geschke who previously claimed recognition on September 9.
