LEBANON, Ill. — McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant for the institution’s men’s and women’s water Polo teams on its Lebanon, Illinois campus for the 2023-2024 academic year. The water polo programs consist of a men’s and women’s team competing at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II level and a men’s team that competes at the club level.

Tuition and stipend are a benefit of this position.

The graduate assistant coach will assist in planning and executing the training for all three teams in and out of the pool. They will also assist the head coach in administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes, recruiting, fundraising, planning of team travel, and assisting with home games.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and acceptance into a master’s program at McKendree University is required. Some travel is required. Interviews will begin immediately.
