BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — In consideration of recent on-going conversations over the past several days regarding which varsity programs will compete during the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Water Polo season during the Winter of 2021, the Preseason National Top 20 and Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Top Five polls will be delayed for one week until Wednesday, December 30.
Due to several programs considering their competitive options for the upcoming season in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, a delay of seven days should aid in clarifying which teams are capable and hold an intent to compete during the upcoming men’s season.
